Raunchous Brothers – “Die! Faggot Die!” CDR (200?)
I don’t believe there is such a thing as perfection, but the first three tracks on this demo are about as close to perfection as a Metal band can get, as heard through the ears of Mr. Poopy, at least. Why don’t more bands do this sort of thing? And why do the few bands that attempt it fuck it up and sound like shit? And where is that album they recorded? I’ve been waiting for that thing for years!

Unfortunately, the other three songs on this thing aren’t nearly as good. “Prick Teasing Bimbo” is kind of lame, the Mentors cover is, of course, good, but it’s a cover, and God knows why they decided to butcher that Sabbath tune! What’s even more frustrating is that they had other songs that were 1,000 times better, hence, I really want to hear that unreleased album! Someone out there has to have a copy of that damn thing! Send a copy to Mr. Poopy and I’ll be your imaginary friend—I’ve waited long enough!
I lived in Chicago for about 11 years and this is the only band I ever found in that town that was worth a shit. Shitcago is kind of a rough town and it always struck me as odd that it would have such a queer-ass Punk / HC scene and lame music scene in general. This band almost redeemed that town and their live shows were great, as well. As an added bonus, I tacked on the tracks from the Anal Cunt split 7″.

This CD was released in 2004. I got in contact with a guy on YouTube who has a Raunchous Brothers album called “The Bald and the Bearded and Then Some”, which has 19 tracks (most of them Mentors covers) including one live track. He’s sending me the tracks one by one and I’ll upload the whole shebang to MediaFire for you when I have it all.
I was thinking 2002 or 2003. I remember the first time I heard it and where I was at and who I was with but can’t place the date. Actually, now that I think about it, it had to be earlier than 2004, because the guy I got it from had moved out of that place by 2004 and was living in the apartment below me by that time, and had been for several months. This is why I don’t drink anymore. At any rate, I want to hear that shit, so put it up, dude!

The funny thing is in his first sentence he’s saying how he can’t fathom why anyone would like it, and in his second breath he’s saying he wants to ban it even though he already admitted he doesn’t understand it! And, of course, we have that love of authority, asking them to fight your battles for you by being a tattle-tale. Funny how much you can tell about a person from a couple sentences.
I was browsing Soulseek and found out that the Die Faggot CD dates back to 2001. Also, the guy who sent me the tracks from Bald and the Bearded closed his youtube account, but I found another account with track 8 from the Bald… album and a video of the guys playing Constantly Jackin’.
In wonder if he quit because people where bitching? I don’t even have a YouTube account anymore–that place is worse than Craigslist for faceless morons to stir up shit.

Yeah, I had that stuff on my old hard drive that crashed. It’s around somewhere, but I am still cleaning that mess up–probably won’t be able to get to it for a couple more months. At any rate, the Anal Cunt tracks sucked, as does everything else that band ever put out. I never liked those guys and I’m pretty sure it’s been posted elsewhere. You should try to find the Vaginal Jesus stuff–it’s much more amusing and more in line with Raunchous Bros.
I have their Affirmative Apartheid CD (Tri-State Terror NR021) and their Pissing on Jew Pussies Split with Ethnic Cleansing, however the split is the inferior 1997 German bootleg and not the 2005 official version on Toothless Yid Records.

I own both of those CD’s. All the EC stuff was put on one disc and I own that, as well. Did a couple trades with their lead singer back in the day he gave me that split CD on TY, with the data files. VJ was basically a joke band, EC wasn’t. That dude was funny as shit, though. Never could figure out how serious he was, but I suspect very. Those lyrics were nuts–the guy really went for the throat. I was following “hate rock” from day one, but that shit ain’t getting posted here. Period. Not because I have anything against those folks or can’t take the shit storm, but because it’s pointless. People who hate it will continue to protest and people who like it will continue to be the people they are. I’ve never been on board with any of that skinhead crap, be it racist or otherwise and I suspect half those guys are severely repressed faggots. How many years need to go by before those kids recognize a dead end when they see it? You want to change the system, then infiltrate it instead of being a drunken goon / crybaby. One selling point about EC was that they didn’t go for that skinhead shit, either, and the feeling was generally reciprocated. That is partially why that band is so obscure.
